As a natural material in harmony with its surroundings, timber lends itself to a tremendous variety of forms and styles.

~

Decking is a superb way to enhance the aesthetic appeal of a house and garden and can be readily tailored to suit all sizes and designs. Timber structures give great design flexibility and tend to be more cost effective than traditional stone, brick or paviour hard landscaping.

A deck will add an extra dimension to the living space of a home. . . . . .

it can be 'themed' to blend with its environment . . . . .

and tailored to make decorative and functional areas in seemingly unusable areas.

Some design and build projects for local schools:-

With traditional Wendy houses set on timber decks and joined by stepping stones, the younger children at Foxmoor Primary School have year round access to their own village.

An undulating area of tarmac at Thrupp Primary School transformed into a sheltered deck for use by children at play and parents waiting to collect their offspring.

After major building works, the site of demolished outbuildings at Randwick Primary School was turned into a sheltered deck area which also doubles as an outdoor theatre.

Thrupp Primary School also commissioned the construction of a bicycle shelter to encourage childrens awareness of vital health and environmental issues. (Grants may be available for funding such projects in your area).

Installed in the grounds of Horsley Primary School, this octagonal pavilion was designed for use as a shelter and outdoor classroom......

.......and their new playground shelter incorporates a stage, seating, planters and a covered sandpit for younger children

The trim trail installed at Foxmoor Primary School appeals to children from a wide age range.
With the appearance of an army assault course, this low height equipment is fun to use and encourages balance, upper and lower body strength and hand and eye co-ordination.

An unused corner of the grounds at Floor converted into a fenced conservation area.
Our hard landscaping of this area with its pond, dipping platform, seating and all weather pathway is just the start of a long term project which will feature the involvement of many future generations of pupils and teachers in its development.

All timbers used are from a renewable resource and pressure treated for longer life.
